Set your logo, colors and fonts

Lesson 9 of 20
Brand, for a small store, is mostly consistency. The same logo, the same two colors and the same fonts on every page make a store feel intentional. Kambloo's theme settings apply these once and everywhere.
Where the settings live
Open the customizer and go to the theme settings area. The exact groups depend on the theme, but official themes expose at least:
- Colors: primary, accent and surface, which is the background.
- Typography: heading font, body font and corner radius.
Each setting maps to a design token that every section and every page reads, including the checkout. Change the primary color once and every button, link and highlight follows.
Logo
If you skipped the logo in onboarding, upload it here. A few practical rules:
- Use a file with a transparent background, so it works on light and dark headers.
- Keep the wordmark readable at small sizes. The header on a phone is narrow.
- Check the checkout page as well as the homepage. The checkout reads your colors and fonts but keeps a fixed layout, so the logo has to work there too.
Colors
Pick one primary color and one accent color. The primary carries buttons and key links. The accent is for badges, sale prices and small highlights. A third color, surface, is your page background; keep it white or near-white unless you have a strong reason.
Check contrast. Button text must be readable on the primary color, and body text on the surface. If you cannot read a button label at arm's length on your phone, your customers cannot either.
Do not use the accent color for buttons in one section and the primary in another. One rule, applied everywhere, is the point.
Fonts
Choose one heading font and one body font from the font picker. The body font should be neutral and easy to read in long product descriptions. The heading font can carry more personality.
Two things Kambloo handles for you:
- Fonts are served from Kambloo's own font host, subset and optimized, so a font choice does not slow the store down.
- If your store has Arabic enabled, the font stack falls back to an Arabic-capable font automatically, and letter spacing is not applied to Arabic text, which would break the joined script.
Corner radius
A single number sets how round buttons, cards and inputs are. Zero gives a sharp, editorial look; a higher value gives a softer one. Choose it once and leave it.
Small text that carries the brand
Beyond theme settings, brand also lives in small text. Set your store name where the theme shows it, write a short footer line about who you are, and add your contact details. The customer who is unsure whether to trust a new store reads the footer.
Publish and check
Publish, then open the storefront on a phone and on a desktop. Look at the homepage, a category page, a product page and the checkout. If anything looks off, adjust and publish again. Your previous versions are kept, so nothing is lost.
Common mistakes
- Four colors instead of two. Stores with many colors look accidental.
- A decorative heading font used for body text.
- A logo that only works on a white background.
- Low contrast on buttons, especially light text on a light primary color.
- Checking only the homepage. The product page and checkout matter more.
Apply this in your store: set your logo, two colors, two fonts and a corner radius, publish, and check all four page types on your phone.
