Create your account and open your test store

Signing up takes one screen. Opening your store takes a few more. This lesson walks through both, so you know what each step asks and why.

Step 1: the signup form#

Go to kambloo.com and choose "Start free". The form asks for your name, your email address and a password. You can sign in with Google or Apple instead. Kambloo does not ask for a phone number, a company name or a card.

Pick a strong password. Kambloo rejects passwords that appear in known data breaches, so a very common one will not work.

The language you were browsing in becomes your account language. Emails from Kambloo arrive in that language.

Step 2: verify your email#

If you signed up with a password, Kambloo sends a verification email from [email protected]. The link is valid for 60 minutes. If it expires, request a new one from the waiting screen.

Social sign-in skips this step because Google or Apple has already confirmed the address.

Step 3: name your store and choose its address#

Next you choose a store name and a store address. The address is the part before .kambloo.com. Kambloo suggests one from your store name and checks availability as you type.

Rules for the address:

• 3 to 63 characters.
• Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only.
• Turkish characters are converted automatically, so ş becomes s and ı becomes i.
• Some names are reserved, such as www, mail, admin, api and blog.

Choose something close to your brand. Your customers will not see this address for long, because your own domain replaces it when you go live, and the old address redirects to the new one. Still, you will share it with friends and test customers, so keep it readable.

Step 4: provisioning#

Kambloo now creates your store. This means a separate database for your data and a subdomain record for your address. A progress screen updates every couple of seconds. The target is under 60 seconds.

If something fails, you see a plain message and Kambloo retries automatically. You do not need to start over.

Step 5: land in your admin#

When the store is ready, Kambloo signs you in to your store admin at yourstore.kambloo.com/admin. You do not need to log in again. The onboarding wizard opens right away.

Step 6: the onboarding wizard#

The wizard has three short screens, then a "your store is ready" screen:

1. Store name and logo. Confirm the name and upload a logo if you have one. You can skip the logo and add it later in the theme customizer.
2. First product. Add one product with a name, a price and an image. Module 2 covers the full product form. For now, one real product is enough.
3. Theme color. Pick the main color of your store. Module 3 shows how to refine colors, fonts and sections.

The wizard is designed so that a new store owner can add three products in about 15 minutes without reading any documentation. Treat that as your first goal.

If you leave halfway#

If you verify your email but do not finish creating the store, your account page shows a "set up your store" card the next time you sign in. Kambloo sends one reminder email after 24 hours, and no more.

Common mistakes#

• Using a work email you may lose access to. Use an address you control.
• Choosing a store address with a typo. It is not permanent, but fixing it later is one more thing to do.
• Skipping the first product in the wizard. An empty storefront makes every later step harder to judge.
• Closing the browser during provisioning. It usually finishes in under a minute; wait for the "ready" screen.
