Storefront

Definition

The storefront is the public, customer-facing part of an online store: the home page, category and product pages, cart, checkout, and account area. It is what visitors and search engines see, as opposed to the admin panel where the merchant works. Its speed, structure, and clarity decide most of the conversion rate.

Why it matters for your store

Everything the merchant does in the admin panel ends up on the storefront. It is the only part of the platform the customer ever sees, and it has to do several jobs at once: load fast on a phone, present products clearly, give search engines and AI engines complete HTML, and take the customer through checkout with as few steps as possible.

Storefronts differ most in what happens without JavaScript. A storefront that renders on the server sends complete pages that crawlers and slow phones can use. One that assembles pages in the browser is slower and harder to index.

How Kambloo handles it

Kambloo's storefront is server-rendered: every page arrives as complete HTML, with interactive parts such as the cart drawer layered on top. It runs inside a performance budget that is enforced before any release.

Themes control the look through design tokens, section templates, and a visual customizer, without touching code. The storefront ships with ready translations for Turkish, English, German, Russian, and Arabic, including right-to-left layout for Arabic, and you can add languages. Every page carries its SEO metadata, canonical URL, structured data, and hreflang set automatically.

Checkout works as a guest, offers installments, cash on delivery, and bank transfer alongside cards, and presents the distance sales contract before payment. Your store starts at your-slug.kambloo.com as a free test storefront, hidden from search engines, and moves to your own domain with the go-live wizard.

Questions about Storefront

What is the difference between the storefront and the admin panel?

The storefront is what customers use to browse and buy. The admin panel is where you manage products, orders, campaigns, and settings. They are separate applications with separate logins.

Can customers see my test storefront?

Anyone with the link can visit it, but it is hidden from search engines and cannot take real payments until you go live on your own domain.
