From the sale price to your account

A Trendyol order does not pay you the price on the listing. The commission of the category comes off first, then the fixed service fee of the shipment, then the shipping the marketplace billed you for, then the VAT on all of those fees, and on many accounts a withholding on the remaining amount. What arrives is the payout, and it is regularly a third smaller than the number the seller had in mind when setting the price.

This calculator writes the whole chain down in one screen. Pick the category, type the price you list at, and every line appears: what the commission takes, what the fixed fee takes, what the parcel costs you, what the VAT on those invoices adds, and what is left. Add your unit cost and the page also answers the question underneath: whether the listing makes money at all, and the price at which it starts to.

Trendyol does not publish one public rate card. The commission of a category depends on the seller level, on category campaigns, on producer and cooperative programs and on what a seller negotiated, so the binding number is the one in the agreement section of the seller panel. The table on this page is therefore a band compiled from published sources, with the date it was published and a link to it, and every field on the page can be overwritten with the rate on your own statement.

The VAT lines deserve one sentence of their own. The VAT inside your sale price was collected for the tax office and is not revenue, and the VAT on the marketplace fees is deductible if you are VAT registered. The tool separates both instead of folding them in, because a seller below the VAT threshold reads a different bottom line from the same sale.

How to use it

  1. Pick the category The commission field fills with the published rate for that category. Where the published figure is a band, the field starts in the middle of it.
  2. Enter your price The price the buyer pays, VAT included. Every percentage on this page is applied to that amount, which is how the marketplace calculates too.
  3. Correct the deductions Put your own commission from the seller panel in, set the shipping to the desi band you actually ship at, and adjust the per-order fee if yours differs.
  4. Add your cost With a unit cost the page also shows the profit, the margin and the break-even price of the listing, not only the payout.

Questions about Trendyol commissions

Why is my commission different from the one shown here?

Because Trendyol negotiates it. The rate depends on the category, on your seller level, on campaigns you joined and on your own agreement, and the binding figure is the one in the agreement section of the seller panel. The table here is a published range, useful for planning a price and for comparing categories; type your own rate in and every number on the page follows it.

Is the commission calculated on the price with VAT?

Yes. The commission is a percentage of the amount the buyer pays, VAT included, and the marketplace then invoices that commission with VAT of its own. Both lines are shown separately here. If you are VAT registered you deduct the second one, which is what the "I can deduct the VAT on the fees" switch does to the bottom line.

What about the shipping deduction?

On Trendyol the seller carries the parcel: the marketplace ships it and deducts the fee from the payout, priced by desi band and by carrier. The field on this page starts from the cheapest published band, so set it to the band and the carrier you actually use. A small basket with a large parcel is the classic case where the payout falls below the cost.
