Nothing you type is sent anywhere. The calculation runs in your browser, and the page keeps no record of it.
The monthly seller subscription is an account cost, not an order cost, so it is not part of this calculation.
These figures are an estimate, not tax or accounting advice. Check them against your own statement and the rules that apply to your business.
Amazon is the one marketplace here that publishes its rates. The referral fee of every category is on the seller fee page, so the table on this page is the marketplace's own and not a compiled estimate. The fee is charged on the total the buyer pays - the item, its VAT and any shipping charged - and Amazon invoices it with VAT of its own, which a VAT-registered seller deducts.
Some categories are not one rate but two. Jewelry is charged at a high rate up to a threshold and a much lower one above it, and personal care, cosmetics and food change rate at their own thresholds. The calculator applies the tier your price actually falls into and says which one it used, which matters most exactly where it is easy to miss: a few lira either side of a threshold can change the fee by a factor of three.
Shipping is different here from the Turkish marketplaces. On a seller-fulfilled order Amazon deducts no carrier fee from your payout; you pay the carrier yourself, so the shipping field starts empty and is yours to fill with what the parcel really costs. If you keep stock in Amazon's warehouses, the fulfilment and storage charges of that program are separate from the referral fee and are not part of this calculation.
The monthly seller subscription is not part of an order either. It is a fixed cost of the account, so folding it into a single sale would distort every margin on the page; it is shown as a note instead. What the page does answer is the per-unit question: what the referral fee takes, what the VAT adds, what is left of the sale, and - with a unit cost - whether the listing earns anything and from which price on.
Yes. Amazon charges the fee on the total the buyer pays, which includes the VAT on the item and any shipping charged to the buyer, and the fee itself is invoiced with VAT. Both lines are shown separately on this page, so a seller who cannot deduct that VAT can see what the sale really costs by turning the deduction switch off.
Because a few categories are priced in tiers. Jewelry, for instance, carries a high rate up to a threshold and a much lower one above it, and personal care and food have thresholds of their own. The calculator picks the tier your price falls into and names the rate it used, so a price set just under a threshold does not surprise you later.
No. The subscription is a monthly account cost, not a per-order one, so it is shown as a note rather than spread over a single sale. Fulfilment by Amazon adds its own picking, packing and storage charges, which depend on the size and the time in the warehouse and are not part of the referral fee this page calculates.
