QR code generator

A QR code is a printed link. It belongs on a parcel insert that sends a buyer to a review page, on a shop window that opens your catalog, on a business card, on a market stall sign and on the back of a product label. This tool encodes the address once and hands you a file you own.

Some free generators route the code through their own short link so that they can count the scans. That makes the code depend on their service staying online and free: if it closes or moves behind a subscription, every sticker you printed stops working. The code produced here contains your address directly, so nothing sits between the scanner and your page, and nothing can be switched off.

Print quality is a matter of vectors. The SVG has no resolution at all: it is a description of the squares, so it stays exact whether it is printed at two centimeters or two meters. Use it for anything a printer produces. The PNG is a bitmap for the places that require one, and it is generated with whole-pixel modules so the edges stay hard.

Error correction decides how much damage the code survives. Level L keeps the grid small and is right for a screen; level H rebuilds a code with about a third of it obscured and is the safer choice for a sticker, a mug or anything that gets handled. Higher correction means more squares in the same area, so a scanner needs a larger print to read them.
