Messaging integration

Mutlucell

What it does

  • Sends OTP, order, and shipping SMS through Mutlucell's REST API, with SMPP available for high-volume accounts.
  • Joins the SMS failover chain as a third provider behind Netgsm and İleti Merkezi.
  • Applies the same templates, segment counting, and IYS consent gate as every other SMS provider.

Provider based in Turkey

Mutlucell is a further SMS provider in Kambloo's SMS failover chain. It offers a REST API and, for high-volume accounts, SMPP. Header management stays in Mutlucell's panel. The adapter is an Internal Module. Kambloo charges nothing for it; Mutlucell bills messages under your account.

How it works with Kambloo

Mutlucell implements the SmsProvider interface shared by all six SMS providers in the catalog. That means the core treats it exactly like Netgsm or İleti Merkezi: the dispatcher hands over a message, the adapter sends it, and delivery status flows back into the message log. Your store decides where Mutlucell sits in the provider order.

The main use is redundancy. Login and checkout depend on OTP, so an SMS outage is a sales outage. With Netgsm first, İleti Merkezi second, and Mutlucell third, the circuit breaker in the dispatcher moves a failed message down the chain automatically. OTPs stay on the critical queue with a sub-10-second target, and shipping notifications stay on the notifications queue.

Transport can be REST or SMPP. The REST API is the default and suits most stores. SMPP is a persistent connection used for very high volumes and is available when your Mutlucell account is set up for it. The choice is a module setting and does not change anything above the provider layer.

Headers are approved in Mutlucell's panel rather than through the API. Once approved, you select the header in Kambloo for each message type. The shared KAMBLOO header covers OTP and shipping messages only; marketing SMS requires your own header.

Consent and cost rules are unchanged. Every send job begins with the consent check, marketing messages go only to recipients with valid IYS consent, segment counts are shown in the template editor, and actual segments and cost are logged per message. The messages are billed to your own Mutlucell account.

Requirements

  • A Mutlucell account with REST or SMPP access.
  • A sender header approved in Mutlucell's panel.
  • Other SMS providers installed if you want a failover chain.

Setup steps

The short version. The screens in your store admin follow the same order.

  1. Install the Mutlucell module from the Market. It is free.
  2. Enter your Mutlucell credentials under Settings > Messaging > Mutlucell.
  3. Approve your sender header in Mutlucell's panel and select it in Kambloo.
  4. Set Mutlucell's position in the failover order.
  5. Send a test message and check the delivery report.

Questions about Mutlucell

What is SMPP and do I need it?

SMPP is a direct messaging protocol used for high volumes. Most stores use the REST API. SMPP is an option for accounts that Mutlucell has set up for it.

Why would I add a third SMS provider?

Resilience. OTP messages gate logins and checkouts. A chain of providers means a single outage does not stop customers from paying.

Where are headers managed?

In Mutlucell's own panel. Kambloo lets you select the approved header per message type; the application process stays with the provider.
