Marketplaces integration

Etsy

What it does

  • Connects your Etsy shop with OAuth 2.0 and pushes products as Etsy listings over the v3 API.
  • Sends stock and price updates from Kambloo to Etsy.
  • Pulls Etsy orders into your standard order flow with the Etsy channel tag.

Etsy is part of Kambloo's marketplace catalog. It is the first marketplace in the catalog that points outside Turkey, aimed at handmade and niche products. The connector uses Etsy's v3 REST API with OAuth 2.0 and implements the MarketplaceConnector contract. It is an Internal Module. Etsy's listing and transaction fees are billed by Etsy.

How it works with Kambloo

Authorisation is an OAuth 2.0 grant. You approve Kambloo for your shop, and the tokens are stored encrypted in your store settings. Refreshes are handled by the module.

Product push turns a Kambloo product into an Etsy listing. The mapping screen loads Etsy's taxonomy and the attributes each category expects, and you map your product fields to them. Variants map to Etsy's variation options. Images are taken from your product media. As with every marketplace, the push is blocked until required attributes are present, runs as a batch job, and records approval or rejection per listing.

Sync is mostly one-way. Kambloo pushes stock and price to Etsy as delta jobs with idempotency keys, honouring Etsy's rate limits. Prices from Etsy's side are not pulled into your product. Because Etsy shares the single stock pool with your storefront and other marketplaces, a sale anywhere reduces sellable stock and the new figure is sent to Etsy on a high-priority queue. A buffer per channel is available if you prefer to keep a margin.

Orders are pulled on a schedule and created in Kambloo with the Etsy channel tag. Payment is handled by Etsy, so the order arrives as paid. Shipping labels, invoices, and notifications then run through your usual setup, and the tracking number is written back to Etsy.

The connector pushes the price you configure for Etsy. Per-currency price lists are a separate storefront feature.

Requirements

  • An active Etsy shop and OAuth authorisation for Kambloo.
  • Category and attribute mapping to Etsy's taxonomy.
  • Product photos and descriptions that meet Etsy's listing rules.
