Comparison

Kambloo vs Shopify

Shopify is the largest hosted platform in this comparison, with the deepest app and theme ecosystem. For a store in Turkey the trade-offs are a subscription billed in a foreign currency, a transaction fee on every order because Shopify Payments is not offered there, and staff and reporting limits that depend on the plan.

At a glance

The decision table

Eight dimensions, two columns. The Kambloo column is the same on every comparison page; the Shopify column comes from Shopify's own pages, read on 2 September 2026.

Pricing model The software is free. You pay for a hosting plan sized by the resources your store uses: traffic, storage and media bandwidth. The first month of hosting after you go live on your own domain is free.
Subscription plans billed in USD, EUR, GBP or INR depending on your location; there is no lira billing. The Turkey pricing page lists Basic at $19 a month on annual billing ($27 monthly), Grow at $54 ($72), Advanced at $299 ($399) and Plus from $2,300 a month.
Free plan or test store A test store at yourstore.kambloo.com, free with no time limit, running the complete software with sandbox payments. It becomes a live store when you point your own domain at it. Hosting is free for the first month; you pick a plan at the end of that period.
No permanent free plan. The Turkey page offers three days free, then $1 a month for three months.
Commission and payment fees No commission on sales. You pay your payment provider's own rate; the iyzico, PayTR and Stripe adapters are free modules with your own merchant credentials.
Shopify Payments is not available in Turkey, so a Turkish store uses another provider and pays Shopify's third-party transaction fee on every order in addition to that provider's rate: 2% on Basic, 1% on Grow, 0.6% on Advanced and 0.2% on Plus.
Feature access Every feature on every hosting plan; plans differ only in traffic, storage and media bandwidth. Modules from the App Market are optional extras, and support is the same on every plan.
Basic includes no additional staff accounts and limited data access; Grow allows up to 5 staff and Advanced up to 15 with full data access; Plus is unlimited. B2B catalogs are capped at 3 below Plus, inventory locations at 10 and headless storefronts at 1.
Languages and right-to-left Five storefront and admin languages ready to use: Turkish, English, German, Russian and Arabic, with a full right-to-left layout for Arabic. You can add more languages yourself.
Up to 20 storefront languages per store on every plan. The free Translate & Adapt app auto-translates two languages. Right-to-left layout depends on the theme: Shopify asks you to check that your theme supports it.
Ecosystem The Kambloo App Market for modules and themes, installed from your store admin. It is new and small, and the third-party developer program is not open yet; you will find more apps on the platforms compared here.
Over 16,000 apps in the Shopify App Store and hundreds of themes, with paid themes seen at $100 to $380 one-time. The largest ecosystem in this comparison.
Data isolation Each store runs in its own database, with backups and restore per store. Your products, customers and orders export at any time.
Shopify publishes no statement on per-merchant database isolation on the pages we read.
Migration The import engine reads Excel, CSV, XML and JSON exports with drag-and-drop column mapping, and a 301 redirect panel keeps old URLs alive. The switch page walks through the steps.
Products and orders export to CSV; product images come as URLs, and exports with more than 100 variants or 50 orders are emailed. Shopify's own migration page points to CSV import, third-party migration apps and partners.

Cost

Total cost of ownership

With Kambloo

Kambloo has one line on the bill: the hosting plan. The software costs nothing, and there is no license, no renewal fee, no set-up fee and no commission on sales.

The plan follows resources, traffic, storage and media bandwidth, so a small store pays for a small footprint and grows into a bigger plan only when its numbers do. The panel shows what you used.

The test store is free with no time limit, and the first month of hosting after go-live on your own domain is free. Optional App Market modules are the only other cost, and each one is your choice.

See the hosting plans

With Shopify

A Shopify store in Turkey pays a subscription in a foreign currency and a percentage of every sale. As of 2 September 2026 the Turkey pricing page lists Basic at $19 a month on annual billing or $27 monthly, and Shopify bills in USD, EUR, GBP or INR, never in lira, so the monthly cost moves with the exchange rate.

Because Shopify Payments does not serve Turkey, every Turkish store pays the third-party transaction fee on top of its own gateway's rate: 2% of each order on Basic, 1% on Grow, 0.6% on Advanced and 0.2% on Plus.

Themes and apps are extra where you need them: paid themes seen at $100 to $380 one-time, and app subscriptions priced per app in the App Store.

Access

Feature access

With Kambloo

Every store runs the same software with every feature switched on. Hosting plans change the resources, never the features: the same users, reports, marketplaces, languages and integrations on every plan, and the same support.

New versions arrive centrally. Each store sees the release notes, approves the update and can roll it back if something is wrong.

Everything that is included

With Shopify

Shopify plans differ in what you can do, not only in what you get. Basic has no additional staff accounts and limited data access; Grow allows up to 5 staff and Advanced up to 15 with full data access; Plus is unlimited and gets up to ten times the API limits.

B2B catalogs are capped at 3 on Basic to Advanced and unlimited on Plus; inventory locations are 10 against 200 on Plus, and headless storefronts 1 against 25.

Languages are not gated: up to 20 storefront languages on every plan, with the free Translate & Adapt app auto-translating two of them.

The way over

Moving to Kambloo

With Kambloo

Products, customers and orders come in through Excel, CSV, XML or JSON files with drag-and-drop column mapping, a queued import and a per-row error report you can fix and run again.

The 301 redirect panel maps old URLs to new ones. Everything happens on a free test store while your current store keeps selling; you point your domain last.

How the switch works, step by step

With Shopify

Products export from the Shopify admin to CSV, with images referenced by URL; products with more than 100 variants are emailed. Orders export to CSV as well, with exports over 50 orders emailed and only captured payment data included.

Kambloo's importer reads both files, downloads the image URLs and keeps the column mapping for the final sync. Shopify's own migration page describes the same shape of move in the other direction: CSV import plus migration apps and partners.

Questions

Questions about moving from Shopify to Kambloo

How do I move my products, customers and orders from Shopify?

Export them from Shopify as Excel, CSV, XML or JSON, upload the files to your free Kambloo test store and map the columns by drag and drop. The import runs in a queue and reports errors per row, so you can fix them and run it again.

Does my Shopify store stay online while I move?

Yes. Everything happens on a test store at yourstore.kambloo.com while Shopify keeps selling. You point your domain at Kambloo last, once the catalog and the redirects are in place.

What will I pay on Kambloo?

A hosting plan sized by traffic, storage and media bandwidth, and nothing else: no license, no set-up fee and no commission on sales. The software costs nothing, and the first month after going live is free.

Do I keep my domain and my search rankings?

Yes. Connect your own domain with one CNAME record and Kambloo issues the SSL certificate through Cloudflare. The 301 redirect panel maps every old Shopify URL to its new address, so search engines follow your pages to the new store.

Are any features held back on the plans?

No. Every feature is on every hosting plan: abandoned cart recovery, the campaign engine, marketplace, cargo and e-invoice integrations, multilingual storefronts and the same support. Plans differ only in resources.
