Small batches, custom requests and the story behind each piece

Handmade shops sell one of a thing, made to a request, told with a story. Kambloo tracks stock down to the last unit, takes engraving text and uploaded designs at checkout, sells pieces before they exist, and lists the same catalog on Etsy and Instagram.

What you will see in your store admin

  • A product with three personalisation options: engraving text, a gift note and an uploaded design
  • Stock at one unit, with the badge the storefront shows only while that is true
  • A pre-order for a piece that ships in three weeks, with the date on the product page
  • The same product listed on Etsy from the catalog
  • A shareable cart link sent over WhatsApp

Product screens are captured from a real store and placed here once the admin ships. Nothing on this page is a mock-up.

What a Handmade & Crafts store asks of its platform

  • Stock that is often one

A ceramic bowl exists once. The storefront must never sell it twice, must say "one left" only when that is true, and must let the next customer ask to be told when a new batch is fired.

  • Personalisation at the point of sale

Names, dates, colours, an uploaded logo: the request has to arrive with the order, priced correctly, without an email exchange afterwards.

  • Made to order

Many pieces are made after payment. Buyers accept waiting if the delivery date is on the page and the order says where their piece is.

  • Gifts and messages

A large share of handmade orders are gifts. Wrapping, a note and shipping to another address need to be checkout options, not requests in the comments.

  • The channels where makers are found

Etsy for abroad, Instagram for home, WhatsApp for the regulars. One catalog should feed all three without retyping.

  • Fair costs at small volume

A maker cannot pay for features they do not use. The software should be free, the plan should follow the traffic, and there should be no commission on what sells.

How Kambloo answers

Honest stock, custom options and every channel from one catalog

  • Free software, every feature on every store
  • Hosting plans differ only in traffic, storage, SMS quota and media bandwidth
  • Each store runs in its own database
  • Five storefront languages, Arabic with right-to-left layout included

Stock is tracked per product and per variant with a low-stock alert at the threshold you set, an option to take a sold-out item off the storefront automatically, and a "last units" badge that shows only from real stock; fake scarcity is against the platform's rules. Back-in-stock requests send one notification per unit when a new batch is booked in, and stock movements record who changed what and why. Custom product fields hold materials, dimensions, care notes and the story of the piece as structured data, and the built-in blog gives the workshop a voice that search engines index.

The Product Personalisation module adds paid or free options at the point of sale: engraving text, a gift note, a colour choice, a file upload and a design canvas for made-to-order prints. Pre-order sells a piece before it is made, shows the estimated date and fulfils in sequence when stock arrives. Gift wrapping and a gift note are checkout options, the order carries a separate shipping address, and order notes keep the customer's request next to the line item. Digital Products delivers patterns, printables and licences through expiring signed links with a download limit.

The Etsy connector lists your catalog abroad through Etsy's API, the Meta catalog feed keeps Instagram and Facebook Shop in sync, and the shareable cart link turns a WhatsApp or DM conversation into a paid order with a link or a QR code. Payments run through iyzico or PayTR at home and Stripe abroad; bank transfer and cash on delivery are options too. Every feature is on every store, hosting plans differ only in traffic, storage, SMS quota and media bandwidth, and there is no commission on sales. The test store at your-shop.shops.kambloo.com is free without a time limit, and the first three months on your own domain are free as well.

Questions

Questions Handmade & Crafts sellers ask

How do customers send me their engraving text or a design file?

The Product Personalisation module adds the options to the product: a text field, a selection, a file upload or a design canvas, each free or priced. The values arrive on the order line, so the request is complete when payment is.

Can I sell on Etsy and my own store from one catalog?

Yes. The Etsy connector is an internal module: products push from your catalog, orders come back into the same order list, and stock is shared through one pool with a buffer per channel. The Meta catalog feed does the same for Instagram and Facebook Shop.

What does a small shop pay?

Nothing for the software, ever. The test store is free with no time limit, and after you go live on your own domain the first three months of hosting are free. After that, you pick a hosting plan by the resources you use; the plans differ in traffic, storage, SMS quota and media bandwidth, never in features. There is no commission.
